Your account and submissions
Provide accurate information, protect your account, and submit only work and materials you own or are authorized to use. You remain responsible for your project, its legality, security, licenses, and third-party terms.
Age and specific arrangements
There is no minimum age requirement to apply or participate in public voting. If a participant is legally unable to enter a binding agreement or receive a particular resource in their jurisdiction, the organizers may require a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized representative to provide consent before that specific resource or arrangement is provided.
Your ownership
You retain your company, code, intellectual property, and ownership. You grant organizers a limited, revocable permission to display approved public project information and Demo Day material to operate and promote Ship in 30.
Support
Selected builders may receive discretionary non-dilutive support from the organizers. This can include infrastructure, software, API usage, technical resources, services, promotional support, or other build expenses where appropriate. The type and level of support, if any, is determined case by case and is not guaranteed.
SHFT use is not mandatory. Participation creates no investment, employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, or exclusive relationship. Any future commercial relationship is optional and separately agreed.
Selection and public voting
Organizers and judges assess valid applications and decide which projects reach the published shortlist. The public vote determines the normal final Top 3 after fraudulent votes are removed and the result is certified. A tie at the final qualifying position uses the original application assessment score first; a further tie requires a recorded panel decision under the published criteria. Winners are not chosen at random.
Program operation
Organizers may enforce eligibility and safety rules, moderate public content, pause voting, invalidate abusive votes, change reasonable operational details, or remove bad-faith participation. Voting does not publish a result automatically when the window closes. Material changes will be communicated where practical.
Service availability
The site and program are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Outages, third-party service failures, and events outside organizer control may affect schedules or features.
